Björn Borg

Björn Borg is a retired Swedish tennis player who is considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. He was born on June 6, 1956, in Stockholm, Sweden, and turned professional in 1973.

Borg won a total of 64 singles titles during his career, including 11 Grand Slam singles titles: six French Opens and five consecutive Wimbledon Championships from 1976 to 1980. He was known for his exceptional athleticism, cool demeanor on court, and his signature headband.

Borg retired from professional tennis at the age of 26 in 1983, with a career record of 654 wins and 140 losses. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987, and he later became a successful businessman and fashion entrepreneur.
