Casper Ruud

Casper Ruud is a professional tennis player from Norway. He was born on December 22, 1998, in Oslo, Norway. Ruud is a right-handed player and is currently coached by his father, Christian Ruud, who is a former professional tennis player as well.

Ruud started playing tennis at a very young age and quickly showed promise as a junior player, winning the European Junior Championships in 2015. He turned professional in 2016 and began playing in ATP Challenger and Futures events.

Ruud’s breakthrough came in 2019, when he won his first ATP title at the Argentina Open, becoming the first Norwegian to win an ATP Tour title. Since then, he has gone on to win five more ATP titles and has established himself as one of the rising stars of men’s tennis.

Ruud’s game is characterized by his powerful forehand and solid baseline play. He is known for his consistency and ability to wear down opponents with his aggressive style of play. With his young age and promising talent, he is considered as one of the players to watch in the coming years.
